Giving Back Worldwide

In 2017, I was not only called to move from western medicine to eastern, but to use that knowledge to treat communities in Guatemala. I believed it was a call for the future, and so, between my work, family and new home, I slowly made my way through classes.                              I soon fell very and repeatedly ill- pneumonia, bronchitis, the flu twice, consistent fevers and my adrenal system almost shut down completely, all in a four month period.  My bones became so brittle that I fractured both of my shins running into my bed frame in the middle of the night!                I quit work and committed to focus on school.  I was well for 2 weeks before I attempted to work on my yard as well, but immediately fell ill again. I stopped and immediately was well. I decided to listen to God and to focus on herbalism, acupressure and my family.  Good thing too, because within 6 months of starting, I was on my way to Guatemala to do holistic care and I had not finished my classes yet! (I would have, had I listened in the beginning.) 

That trip was difficult: I felt insecure and was treated as unworthy, but I was able to help children and families who are untrusting, unused to or do not have access to western medicine. I received confirmation that my path was the right one with every illness healed, in every smiling face and hug. The trip was also beautiful and changed the course of my life. 

I did not immediately return to Guatemala, but it stayed on my heart and in my mind and I remained in contact with the leaders home and abroad.  In March of 2024, I returned, much more confident and experienced. I treated acute and chronic lung conditions, immune and gut issues, parasitic infections and hormonal imbalances.  I discovered a need to treat Dengue Fever, as well as Zika and other mosquito driven viruses common to the area. I was able to see children nearly grown, meet new and precious ones and experience healing of my own.

I will be returning in March of 2025, to treat past issues and also returning with new remedies.  I would not have been able to nor be able to do it again without the assistants that volunteer to help me.  Travel and supply funds are always greatly needed.  If it is put upon your heart or in your ability to help financially and/or with prayer/meditation, I am so grateful.
